New achievements reveal more Cataclysm details Spoiler alert: Don't poke kisingeout into the comments on this post about new achievements found that relate to upcoming world changes, unless you're ready for Cataclysm spoilers. Pwnzoar: About the gnomes getting their city back, will this mean the Trolls might get a city as well? The gnomes have been similar citywise as the trolls. Their starting zone is shared with another race, and they did not have an actual city for their specific race. Is it possible that Blizzard will add another city for the trolls to balance out the fact that the Alliance will have five cities and the Horde only four? Not counting whatever new cities for the worgen and goblins will get. MazokuRanma: The trolls actually already have an area of their own just like the gnomes; it's the Echo Isles over in Durotar. It's not an instanced area like Gnomeregan, but it has been overrun with rebels, I believe. It's been a very long time since I did the starting zone quests in Durotar, though, so I don't remember the exact story relating to the Isles. That fact that there appears to be some sort of troll battle in Durotar supports the idea that they will also get their own area back. It seems even more necessary since at wow gold The Ley-Guardian's first sortie of the season was actually the last match of the season's first bracket, setting the tone: the beginning of the end. This match originally appeared to be the end of the road for Eregos. Loken easily took down the great dragon, 59.8% to 36.9%, knocking the Ley-Guardian out of the race.Eregos was first up for the next bracket of Thunderdome matches, taking on Keristrasza of the Nexus. The emotional match was close, but Eregos finally downed Keristrasza 50.7% to 44.2%. wow gold Fresh off his victory against Keristrasza, an energized Eregos blazed into the Thunderdome once again to face Skadi the Ruthless. This time, Eregos pulled off one of the most one-sided victories of the season, with 75.3% of the spectators roaring their approval (compared to Skadi's paltry 22.6% vote).Revenge! The luck of the draw finally brought the Ley-Guardian full circle to face his original opponent in the season's semi-finals. This time, Eregos exacted his revenge, snaring 56.5% of the vote to Loken's mere 36.9%. wow gold He may have gotten off to a rough start in the season, but Eregos pulled through in the end, toppling the mighty Anub'Arak in the finals, 48% to 42.6%. Nearly 10% of the spectators found themselves milling about in the "Tie/Something Else Happens" area of the Thunderdome lobby, despairing of being able to choose between the powerful foes in this tightly contested match. We encourage you to visit the original battle post to enjoy the many in-depth reader comments, many of them posted in hopes of being selected for the new Thunderdome judges' panel for the upcoming season. wow gold In looking at the possibilities for our upcoming season, we're slightly revising the plan for our new panel of Thunderdome judges. The final plan: 2 permanent WoW.com panelists; the esteemed Messieurs Michael Gray and Matthew Rossi have graciously accepted panel seats 1 "celebrity" judge from the WoW community at large; filling the seat this season will be ICC-raiding mage/sci-fi author John Zakour wow gold But wait ... That's only four judges. What about split decisions? That's where you readers come in. The vote from the spectator stands will serve as the fifth vote on our Thunderdome panel. And who will they be judging? Come back next week, as we kick off the next season of Two Bosses Enter, One Man Leaves: the Icecrown Five-Mans -- Trial of the Champion versus Icecrown Citadel! wow goldBlizzCon they made it sound like Hellscream is kicking all races other than orcs and tauren out of Orgrimmar. The changing economy No need to wait for Cataclysm, though, for big, big changes. It looks like a number of cataclysmic changes to the game economy may lie ahead, beginning with Patch 3.3.3 Mal: So, complete profession nub here, but how come people are saying that the loss of cooldowns is also the loss of a cash cow? I thought you made less money because you could only make so few items every three days. Plus people will actually be able to make their own stuff that requires Titansteel/whateverweave now, like the bike and Glacial Bag. Joseph Smith: Supply and demand. The fact that one could only be made every X days means that there are fewer on the AH. What will happen now is there will be a flood of these items onto the market and prices will be driven down as everyone strives to undercut the lowest price on the market currently.
